Abstract

Universities are a major source for building the personality of their members in various fields of life due to the distinguished and effective role they have in all aspects of comprehensive development , as they aim, in addition to (academic activities), to provide support services such as (administrative buildings) and (Dormitory Town), the design of the spaces of those service buildings at Beni-Suef University campus did not receive sufficient attention in terms of their architectural design, which negatively affects the lack of communication and social interaction between the occupants. Hence, this research came to evaluate Those building after their occupancy, relying on hypothesis that says: “success of any design Evaluation depends on the occupants’ satisfaction with their building.” , methodology was based on a (theoretical framework) in which a set of general concepts and relevant frameworks were presented, such as the relationship between The process of (post-occupancy evaluation), (measuring the efficiency of building performance), establishing the (applied framework), which aimed to implement executive procedures using the Indicative method to test the effectiveness of these theoretical frameworks and test them in light of occupants responsibility, including students & administrators, as well as Visitors through two main axes: the first based on field study, after setting classification of most important architectural spaces, then questionnaires were distributed to random samples, included personal interviews to measure the suitability of various (functional), (behavioral) & (technical) values... second axis was based on an analytical study, in which information obtained from questionnaires and interviews was documented and analyzed to explore new factors affect the solution of existing, ending with a set of recommendations that include some proposed procedures and required modifications to reach the highest possible operating efficiency, so The main contribution of this research has focused on highlighting the importance of the role that can be played by post-occupancy evaluation (P.O.E), to achieving high rates of efficiency in the performance of these buildings and increasing the satisfaction of their occupants.
