The role of the industrial designer in robots design

Robots appeared during the industrial revolution and the construction engineering capacity to control electricity appeared, so that machines can be operated with small engines, and the people similar to the human being were developed in the early twentieth century, and the first use of robots was in factories industrial robots until they reached what they are now amazing, and overlapped Specializations that would design and manufacture robots from engineers, designers and programmers, even the field of engineering has overlapped several sciences to design and manufacture robots from mechanical and electrical engineering, electronics engineering ... etc. It was necessary to clarify the role of each of these specialties in designing and manufacturing robots, especially to clarify the role of the industrial designer in the design of robots.

Purpose of the study:

The goal of the research is to prove the prosecution and the hypothesis that the industrial designer has an effective, influential and clear role in the design of robots, clarifying the stages and percentage of his participation in a detailed way and activating that role to teach it to students of the department, even if a simple initiative and enter it as a new specialty and as a new course of courses that are taught to students of the Industrial Design Department at the Faculty of Arts Applied.

Research imposition:

The research assumes that the industrial designer has an effective, clear and influential role in the design of robots, and this role is no less important than the role of the electricity engineer, mechanical engineer, software engineer and electronics engineer ... etc. and on the research to prove this with logical evidence, and that this role must be activated to teach it to students of the department Even in a simple way, it is not complicated and entered it as a new major and as a new decision for the fourth division in order to study for students of the Industrial Design Department at the Faculty of Applied Arts.

Search problem:

The presence of an overlap in the specialties of robotics design, the lack of accurate understanding of the industrial designer in the design of robots and its limits and the percentage of subscription to each specialty, whether in the stage of robots design.
