Abstract

Summary of the research: -

Both the art of decoupage, with its plastic values and characteristics, and the art of origami in producing different formations resulting from folding cloth, can be achieved by combining them to produce many innovative designs and benefit from them in producing various ideas for three-dimensional pendants, including... The combination between them carries aesthetic relationships and plastic values that represent a source of inspiration in the design of printed textile pendants. The importance of this research is due to shedding light on the plastic features of both the art of decoupage and the art of origami and how to benefit from them in an attempt to combine them in finding different solutions to produce innovative three-dimensional printed textile pendants.

Research problem :-

Does using the combination of origami and decoupage art to create three-dimensional designs enrich the aesthetic values ​​of printed textile hangings?

research importance :-

- Studying the various methods of origami and decoupage art and implementing them using different types of fabrics.

- Studying the effect of combining the art of origami and decoupage in producing three-dimensional designs to enrich the artistic and plastic values ​​of printed textile hangings.

- Contributing to the use of various methods using materials such as paper and cloth in creating various design ideas to produce printed textile hangings.

Research objective:-

Producing a set of designs by combining the art of origami and decoupage to produce three-dimensional printed textile pendants.

The art of decoupage has aesthetic and plastic possibilities that can enrich the field of printed pendants.

- Using the combination of origami and decoupage techniques as three-dimensional arts, and the aesthetic and artistic values ​​that these arts carry, can be a rich source for creating designs that are suitable as printed hangings. Research methodology:

The research follows the descriptive and analytical approach in dealing with the art of origami and the art of decoupage and their plastic and aesthetic characteristics and their use in creating innovative designs and employing them in the production of three-dimensional textile hangings to enhance the recipient’s senses.
