Abstract

The art of hand-weaving is considered one of the fields of fine arts, which is based on a set of pillars and components through which the artist can practice his artistic work and Formal, achieving with these elements the creation of balance and harmony between the different shapes, colors and spaces in the work and helping it achieve certain artistic goals, laden with connotations and values Formative and expressive in a tangible physical entity, which is textile work. The technical units of hand weaving are considered one of the main pillars of attracting the consumer element, which in turn is based on experience and simulation without reference for precise technical and scientific standards, as this type of traditional units used in design processes of a modular nature is often implemented without stopping. On the scientific and technical dimensions of the units used and their suitability for functional performance.

Textile structures are one of the structural foundations that receive much attention in the field of textile technical innovations, and working to develop the technical capabilities of textile units has become necessary to pay attention to them, which has led to the link between simple and complex textile structures and how Integrating and adapting them through innovative methods that serve as geometric units in a textile design characterized by distinct aesthetic rhythms to enrich the Moroccan carpet, which dates back to the countries of the Maghreb and the Andalusian civilization, where the diagonal vectors of the Textile structures used were determined so that each vector is used individually or in combination (direct or inverse). The symmetries of rotation, rotation, transfer, reflection, falling reflection, and mutual reflection are used for all vectors automatically with the axes of symmetry and repeated in the directions of the different angles of the textile compositions. Innovative methods were applied to the executed textile compositions, as well as an analysis of the innovative methods and their impact on the technical dimensions of the inferred textile units and their application in the Moroccan carpet.
