Abstract

The study aimed to:

• Revealing the influence of the sands of the New Valley on the artistic features of Ahmed Wahba’s works.

• Designing an educational program in contemporary fine painting based on the artistic features of the New Valley sand effect in the works of Ahmed Wahba.

The limits of the study:

The study is limited to:

Objective limits:

• Identifying the types of sand in the New Valley used in producing pictorial works by the artist Ahmed Wahba.

• Identifying the artistic features of the artist Ahmed Wahba’s works affected by the sands of the New Valley.

• Designing an educational program in contemporary fine painting based on the artistic features of the New Valley sand effect in the works of Ahmed Wahba.

Human limits:

• Shedding light on the works of artist Ahmed Wahba during his 30 years in El Kharga

Spatial boundaries:

• Kharga Town in New Valley Governorate - Egypt.

Time limits:

A presentation of Ahmed Wahba’s artistic works during 30 years from 1994 - 2024 .

Study tools: The study tools were:

• The proposed experimental treatment tool: designing an educational program in contemporary fine painting based on the artistic features of the New Valley sand effect in the works of Ahmed Wahba.

Study methodology: The study relied on:

The descriptive analytical approach: By analyzing the works of the artist Amad Wahba and identifying his artistic features, and in light of that, building a proposed educational program based on the artistic features of the influence of the sands of the New Valley on his works, suitable for teaching in the field of contemporary fine painting.

Study hypotheses:

Based on the information obtained in previous studies, the study hypotheses were formulated as follows:

• The possibility of identifying the artistic features of the artist Ahmed Wahba’s works affected by the sands of the New Valley.

• The possibility of designing an educational program in contemporary fine painting based on the artistic features of the New Valley sand effect in the works of Ahmed Wahba.

Results:

The study found:

• Identifying the artistic features of the artist Ahmed Wahba’s works affected by the sands of the New Valley.
