Janadriya Festival a leading event in preserving folklore and rooting identity

the organized folklore festival named Janadriya and organized by the national guard yearly is an important main event in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It is an important indicator of the leadership’s interest in preserving the culture, heritage ,tradition and original Arabic values. The research hypothesis : Janadriya festival is a significant leading experiment in the preservation of folklore and rooting the Arabic ,Saudi and Islamic identity source. The goal of the research is to focus on bringing attention to Janadriya yearly festival role in preserving folklore and rooting identity . the importance is the confirmation on janadiyah role in rooting the national heritage and wording it through artistic performances .
The research problem can be described in the question: did the national yearly festival called ”janadriya “ play a role in preserving the heritage of the nation? Did it convey the cultural developments and experiences the kingdom is undergoing?
The research methodology : the historical descriptive method through describing the historical background of Janadriya and analyzing the rich national and artistic heritage.
The results : 1. Janadriah festival have had a significant role in the assurance of the Arabic, Saudi Islamic identity. 2. The relations between the national heritage and the cultural developments the kingdom is undergoing. 3. 3. To encourage art majors in participating with national folklore content.
The festival of folklore and culture “ janadriya” is a leading international and global event that has attracted attention from the leaders of the kingdome of Saudi Arabia for three decades . its also considered to be a national event inspired by the Kingdome history that is well preserved .
