Abstract

The study addresses the impact of modern technological practices on interior architecture within the framework of the post-modern era, as this era is characterized by the use of technology to transcend the traditional boundaries of architectural creativity. The research reflects how digital technologies, such as computer-aided design (CAD) and virtual reality (VR), are integrated into creative processes, contributing to the creation of unique expressive spaces that challenge traditional methods.

The research focuses on analyzing the most prominent technological methods used and their impact on interior design elements from a functional and aesthetic perspective, as the research problem lies in achieving a balance between technological innovation and preserving artistic and functional values. The research also discusses the environmental and social dimensions of these practices in the context of sustainability.

The importance of the research lies in providing a critical framework for understanding the relationship between technology, aesthetics, and cultural identity, with a focus on practical examples and pioneering projects. Therefore, the research aims to provide innovative visions for developing designs to meet current and future needs. The research reached innovative design strategies that represent a combination of advanced technologies and artistic foundations, contributing to the development of future visions that suit the needs of the era. Postmodernism represents a qualitative shift in design thinking, as it has transcended the traditional boundaries of interior architecture to become a space for experimentation and free creativity. With the tremendous technological development, technology has become a major tool in shaping architectural concepts and designs.

The integration of modern technologies such as digital design and virtual reality has led to a fundamental change in how interior spaces are conceived and implemented, allowing for the creation of designs characterized by dynamism and functional beauty.

However, this transformation poses challenges related to how to preserve cultural identity and environmental sustainability. Hence, the research seeks to analyze the impact of these technological practices within the framework of postmodernism, to explore the relationship between technology and creativity, and to provide design strategies that meet the requirements of the modern era while taking into account artistic and social values.
