Abstract

The current era is witnessing rapid advancements in digital design technologies, making design software an indispensable tool for fashion designers. Despite the wide variety of digital design software and their diverse features, fashion designers face the challenge of selecting the most suitable program that effectively meets their needs. Programs such as CLO 3D, Adobe Illustrator, and Procreate are among the most commonly used tools in fashion design, each offering unique features that help designers transform their creative ideas into realistic models. This research aims to conduct a comprehensive comparison of CLO 3D, Illustrator, and Procreate in fashion design, focusing on efficiency, the quality of designs they deliver, ease of use, precision, and details. The importance of this study lies in providing a holistic perspective on how to select the optimal program for fashion design through a precise, practical comparison supported by examples and evaluations. To achieve this, the researcher adopted a descriptive-analytical approach in the first phase to gather data and information about each program, describe their characteristics and features, and compare their performance based on specific criteria such as design quality and ease of use. For the second phase, the researcher employed an applied approach by creating the same design using the three digital programs under study. In the third and final phase, a comparative method was used to analyze the practical results obtained from the three programs. This process facilitated the development of practical recommendations for designers on selecting the most suitable program according. The study results highlight that each of the three programs offers valuable features, but their effectiveness varies depending on the designer's needs.
