Abstract

The results of studies on childhood indicate That occurrence of any difficulties or shortcomings in early childhood It may continue with the individual for life if early intervention is not taken to reduce it. Difficulties in visual perception and understanding visual stimuli have been significantly linked to learning difficulties. Since the emergence of the field of learning difficulties, many researchers believe that learning difficulties are the result of a developmental deficiency in visual perception processes, which adversely affects the child’s acquisition of the cognitive abilities necessary for academic achievement. Cognitive processes are the basis for acquiring and developing academic skills. The current research aims to treat children with learning difficulties in early childhood through playing. The researcher implemented an interactive textile book for children as an innovative educational method that departs from the traditional form of paper children’s books in the Egyptian market. It is also characterized by its long service life, as it can withstand children’s use and does not tear easily like paper books. It can also be washed and used for a long time. Interactive books for children with learning difficulties are among the most important educational means that have a fundamental impact on their learning, as they are predominantly sensory in nature. The book was designed by the researcher and contains a group of games. Each game has educational goals, and these games work to develop some visual perception skills, including: (distinguishing between implicit groups, visual closure, and distinguishing between shape and ground).
