Abstract

The world has become an open global village, and textile printing designers are striving to discover new ideas. Artificial intelligence (AI) is considered as a powerful tool that assist in producing diverse designs. In light of the overwhelming technological wave, preserving national identity becomes crucial. "Mawlid Bride" (Symbol of Egyptian Mawlid Celebration) holds significant cultural and artistic value, yet has not been sufficiently explored in textile design. The research problem arises in exploring how to benefit from Artificial intelligence (AI) in creating innovative designs for Mawlid Bride clothing fabrics. The research aims to study the aesthetic and artistic values of Mawlid Bride and utilize them in creating new textile fabric designs. Its significance lies in achieving modern artistic vision of Mawlid Bride fabrics design. Its hypothesizes that AI can be enhance national identity through textile print design. It has temporal boundaries studying the Mawlid Bride across various time periods, objective boundaries focusing on its aesthetic values to develop new design solutions for Mawlid Bride fabrics including artistic analysis of each design followed by a proposed employment model and spatial boundaries in Arab Republic of Egypt. The research methodology includes descriptive, analytical, and experimental approaches utilizing artistic and applied experiments. The research results demonstrate that AI supports textile printing designers in creating contemporary designs that reinforce national identity through innovative Mawlid Bride fabric designs which are rich in aesthetic and artistic values. The research recommends the broader use of AI to draw from cultural heritage, enriching the textile design field and beyond.
