Abstract

The integration of digital technology with traditional painting techniques targets a contemporary dimension of artistic creativity and innovation, particularly in the field of glass rendering using diverse materials. This approach opens new horizons for modern artistic expression, reinforcing the role of art as an effective means of communication that bridges authenticity and innovation. Despite the tremendous potential that digital technology offers in enhancing glass rendering in artworks, its use still shows limitations, especially in blending traditional techniques with modern digital methods. Hence, the research problem is defined in the following questions:

1. How can digital technology be utilized to highlight the aesthetic and artistic value of glass without compromising the traditional character?

2. What is the impact of integrating manual methods and modern technology on visual expression in artistic glass paintings?

Research Objective:

The research aims to innovate various methods for integrating diverse digital technologies with traditional painting techniques to enhance the visual effects of glass using multiple materials. This integration is intended to enrich artistic creativity and generate new and diverse visual experiences.

Research Methodology:

1. Descriptive-Analytical Method:

o Studying the potential digital technologies and the diverse materials used in glass rendering.

o Analyzing a selection of artworks that combine traditional styles with modern digital technologies.

2. Artistic Experimentation:

o Conducting practical experiments that combine traditional materials with digital effects such as projection and augmented reality.

o Testing various visual effects including light, transparency, and reflection using digital technologies.

3. Applied Method:

o Conducting experiments with the participation of multiple artists to apply the developed methods and evaluate the outcomes.
