Abstract

Abstract:

The recycled glass product industry, particularly small enterprises relying on traditional techniques, faces significant challenges including limited production capacity and a predominant focus on decorative and aesthetic uses. Despite the artistic value of these products, they often lack practical functionalities that meet daily user needs. Additionally, these enterprises struggle with scaling production and ensuring product quality, which restricts their competitiveness in local and global markets. This research addresses the need to develop glass products that integrate innovative design with recycled materials to boost the competitiveness of small enterprises while achieving environmental and economic sustainability.

The study aims to investigate the influence of advanced technologies in developing recycled glass products that balance aesthetic appeal and functional performance, improve production efficiency, and reduce carbon emissions to support small enterprises and promote sustainability. The study adopts a descriptive-analytical approach and includes an applied component involving the implementation of a project that recycles glass containers and transforms them into functional products for food serving. Additionally, the study evaluates the effect of using thermal glass reshaping techniques on the quality, variety, and production efficiency of the products.

Findings reveal that adopting modern technologies and developing recycled glass products to be functional and suitable for mass production is key to transforming this sector into a competitive and sustainable industry that supports small enterprises and creates real added value. Furthermore, integrating technological innovation with functional design can enhance the competitiveness of these enterprises in both local and international markets, contributing to sustainable economic and environmental development.
