Abstract

Searching for the economic value of creativity and promoting the competitive development of the Egyptian visual arts is the role of the Orange Economy, which represents the integration of art and innovation with economic activities, the visual arts as one of the most important sources of creativity plays an important role in Egypt and we have a rich heritage throughout history in this field " The concept of the Orange Economy has emerged as one of the effective solutions to strengthen the economy by relying on creativity and culture, the partnership between culture and economy is essential to achieve the goals of sustainable development in order to build a more developed future that ensures the vitality of Egyptian culture in the global economic field The world is increasingly recognising the pivotal role of culture and creativity as drivers of economic growth and job creation. In this context, the concept of the 'Orange Economy' has emerged as a comprehensive framework that encompasses activities in which ideas are transformed into cultural and creative goods and services of economic value. The concept has gained increasing prominence in economic development strategies globally, as it is seen as a promising sector that contributes to sustainable and inclusive development. This report aims to explore the role that the Orange Economy can play in enhancing the competitiveness of the Egyptian visual arts and to highlight the mechanisms through which this economic model can be leveraged for the growth and prosperity of this vital sector. The report discusses the basic concepts of the Orange Economy, analyses the current state of the visual arts in Egypt and how it fits into this framework, and discusses the mechanisms through which the Orange Economy can enhance the competitiveness of the Egyptian visual arts in local and international markets. In addition, the report will provide a comparison of the performance of the visual arts under the Orange Economy in other countries, identify challenges and opportunities, and conclude with strategic recommendations for stakeholders to maximise the potential of the Orange Economy to support the Egyptian visual arts.
