Abstract

Quality is one of the most important principles of management at the present time, as management in the past believed that the success of the company means faster and cheaper products and then seeking to sell them in the markets. The principles of quality have changed this old concept and replaced it with another concept that calls for manufacturing products in a better way is the best way that leads to manufacturing them faster and cheaper. Accordingly, the research topic was chosen with the aim of developing quality and ensuring the application of corrective measures when discovering the problem of defects and measuring the extent of progress and raising the level of quality of performance with the aim of qualifying to obtain the required quality. This industry will not achieve steadfastness except by paying attention to quality in production as a basic way to face competition internally and externally. Quality is the basis for the consumer's choice of the commodity or service that he seeks to obtain in order to achieve his requirements and satisfy his various needs, which requires the organization to know and determine the consumer's or customer's point of view towards quality and his perception of it. Hence, this interpretation of quality is based on the fact that the quality of the product or service is determined according to the different and varied requirements and needs of the customer, which results in the existence of many expectations from the consumer or customer regarding this quality and the extent to which the product or service is suitable for the customer's needs and desires. Companies face challenges and global competition in light of globalization and the World Trade Organization. These challenges are represented by the increase in internal and external forces affecting their stability and profitability. The need to improve services, productivity and quality are matters that require dynamic changes in all aspects of the organization. In order for organizations to achieve their goals, they must adopt a comprehensive administrative philosophy that focuses on the customer and operations that are performed in a scientific and administrative manner that keeps pace with the times. Perhaps one of the most important modern administrative philosophies adopted by many service and production institutions is the philosophy of total quality management, which is based on doing the right work the first time and every time
